Crypto top-up quote vs airtime value: read the three amounts
Direct answer: the local-currency top-up value describes the product sent for fulfilment. The visitor display currency helps compare the cart price. The crypto invoice gives the exact transfer amount. An eligible first-order discount lowers the price paid; it does not reduce the selected top-up face value.
Each amount has one job

Hypothetical INR example with a first-order discount
Assume a buyer selects an INR 500 Jio top-up. The cart keeps the product value at INR 500. Suppose the current display conversion shows a hypothetical subtotal of USD 6.00. If the buyer is eligible for code 5%2026 through 31 December 2026 UTC, the discount is USD 0.30 and the shop total becomes USD 5.70. The invoice then converts USD 5.70 into an exact crypto amount using its recorded rate and locks that amount for 60 minutes.

The credited balance can follow operator rules after fulfilment
Face value describes the selected product, but it does not establish the account’s later available balance. Jio distinguishes Top-up talktime from plans and data balance. 2degrees says existing plans can renew when enough credit is added, and its Prepay IOU feature may deduct an outstanding amount. Globe and Smart distinguish regular load from a separately selected promo. Read the country or operator guide instead of applying one rule worldwide.
Top-up amount questions
Does changing display currency change the airtime value?
No. It changes the comparison currency used by the shop; the selected local face value remains attached to the product.
Does the 5% code send 5% less credit?
No. For an eligible first paid order, the discount lowers the item subtotal paid while the selected card or top-up face value stays unchanged.
Why can the recipient balance differ after a top-up?
Operator-specific plan renewals, debt recovery or product rules can affect the account after credit is applied. Check official account activity.
