2degrees top-up: choose the right NZD credit amount

Use this product when a 2degrees New Zealand Prepay account needs credit. The top-up does not choose a plan: start with the recipient’s current balance or renewal need, then choose NZD 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100.

Credit validity is not plan duration

Prepay creditAdds account balance to the selected 2degrees Prepay line.2degrees states that credit is valid for 365 days from the top-up date.

14-day planAn existing plan may use available credit when it renews. The plan follows its own 14-day period, separate from credit validity.

If there is not enough credit, 2degrees says an existing Monthly or 14-day plan goes on hold for three months and renews when the required credit is added. A top-up cannot tell you which plan or allowance the recipient has.

Choose an amount from the account need

The operator minimum and the values sold here happen to begin at NZD 10, but they answer different questions. The official minimum describes 2degrees Prepay; the selector on our product page shows what this shop currently offers.

  1. Confirm the recipient uses 2degrees New Zealand Prepay.
  2. Ask whether they need flexible balance or enough credit for an existing plan renewal.
  3. Choose one available value: NZD 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100.
  4. Do not use the 365-day credit life as the duration of a Monthly or 14-day plan.

Follow the product fulfilment instructions

This page sells operator credit and does not promise a particular data allowance or plan. Fulfilment follows the selected mobile product. Use the instructions supplied with the completed order and keep the recipient’s 2degrees details available.

2degrees top-up questions

Does NZD 10 buy a specific plan?

No. NZD 10 is the operator’s minimum top-up and one of the values sold here. It adds credit; a plan and its allowances are separate.

Can a top-up restart a plan that is on hold?

2degrees says a Monthly or 14-day plan can renew when the required credit is added during its three-month hold period. The amount needed depends on the recipient’s plan.

Does the 365-day rule apply to plan data?

No. It is the validity of Prepay credit from the top-up date. Monthly and 14-day plans have their own periods.
