Pay for a mobile top-up with Monero
Direct answer: choose the recipient’s exact country, operator and top-up type first, then select XMR on the Monero network at Mirogift checkout. The operator does not receive or need Monero; it receives the selected fulfilment through the mobile product.
One purchase has three separate stages

The invoice locks the exact XMR amount for 60 minutes. Wallet fees remain separate, so follow the invoice rather than estimating from the top-up face value.
Monero privacy does not erase information given to other parties
The Monero project explains that ring signatures, RingCT and stealth addresses obscure sender, amount and receiver information on the Monero transaction. Its own FAQ also warns that complete anonymity is not guaranteed and that information disclosed to a third party remains known to that party. Mirogift asks for first name, last name and email; an operator can have its own subscriber records.
Match the mobile service before opening a wallet
A 2degrees NZ top-up adds Prepay credit and does not select a plan. Jio lists Top-up as talktime while active plans and data balance are separate in MyJio. XMR changes how the buyer pays Mirogift, not what those operator products do.
Common questions
Does the recipient need a Monero wallet?
No. The buyer sends XMR to the Mirogift invoice; the recipient uses the selected operator service.
Does Monero bypass SIM registration?
No. Network privacy and operator subscriber requirements are separate.
Can I send XMR after the invoice expires?
Request a new unpaid invoice. Do not reuse an expired amount.
